Salaries of Acute Care Nurse Practitioners are usually more than that of Nurse Practitioners in other specialties. Inpatient settings will pay ACNPs a base salary for new graduates between $78,000-$85,000 with the potential of making more through bonuses. If the new graduate has substantial experiences as a nurse in related fields then a beginning salary could be closer to $90,000. For experienced ACNPs it is not uncommon to see salaries over $100,000. $95,000-$110,000 is an expected salary range for experienced acute care nurse practitioners.
